Classroom Incentive

To help maintain a positively managed classroom, the students will have a new class incentive to reach.  On our white board it will say “Kindergarten is Great!”. If they keep the word “great”, each child will earn 10 jubles.

Book Orders

Book Orders went home last week.  They are due by this Friday.  Please make all checks payable to Scholastic book clubs.

Memory Verse

Make sure to practice daily. The students recite the Bible verse on Fridays.

Author Visit this Thursday

Author Kevin Janison will be here this Thursday for the children to learn about how books are written and illustrated. He is also the weather man for channel 3 news. If you would like to order any of his books, be sure to return the order form by Thursday.

We Sing, this Sunday,

8 A.M. service

This Sunday at 8 am service our class sings in church.  Meet in my class by 7:45am.

Optional Parent Teacher Conference

A sign up sheet will be put up this week for parent teacher conferences.  These are optional. Please sign up if you need to talk about any specific concerns.

Spelling Test

March 8-12 is Lutheran schools week.  Each day will be a special dress up day.  The week will end with the school singing at 11:00 service on Sunday, March 14.

Lutheran Schools Week

March 8-12 is Lutheran schools week.  Each day will be a special dress up day.  The week will end with the school singing at 11:00 service on Sunday, March 14.

Seuss-a-bration

On March 2nd we will celebrate Dr.Seuss’ birthday. A sign up sheet is at the front door. The AM class party is at 9am. The PM class is party is at 2:15 pm. All students are permitted to wear Seuss shirts or any striped clothes in honor of his birthday.

Singing at Ash Wednesday Service

The school will be singing on Wednesday’s service.  Service begins at 7.  You are all invited to join us for a soup supper that begins at 6.  Meet in my room no later than 6:50. This is an optional event, but I encourage you consider participating.
